Hey guys there is a lot of stuff happening in the world right now. I don't really have space here to go over all of it and also I am not really a current affairs expert (though I do read the Alligator occasionally) so I am just going to focus on some of the stuff happening here at UF ASCE:
- Elections! Wednesday 4/14 is an election meeting so come out and vote for a new Executive Board! If you want to get involved in ASCE but you don't know how/are too shy/want to get to know more people before you stage a coup and name yourself Generalissimo in Fall 2011 you can always apply for one of our appointed E-Board positions like Food Chair or Community Service Chair. Talk to Chris after the meeting to find out more.
- Polos! We still have a whole bunch of polos you guys need to buy. I think maybe someone put a couple extra zeros somewhere on the order form because really we have a whole bunch of these lying around. Please come by the office today and buy one for yourself and every member of your family.
- Pigfest! Pigfest is happening on April 22. What is Pigfest? It's a huge party where we roast a pig and hang around all day dr...uh...drawing up plans and doing engineering stuff. Yeah. Engineering stuff. The 22nd is a reading day so you have absolutely no excuse to not come out.
The

The last general ASCE meeting of the spring semester will occur on Wednesday, April 14 2010 at 6:15 pm in Weil 270. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a really important meeting because it is the election meeting, so come on out and vote for our new Executive Board! The sixth meeting of the semester was a great success! Food was served, alumni spoke, and everyone had a great time at the Crom social the day after the meeting.
